Rebecca E. Wall is an Assistant Professor of History at Loyola Marymount University. She is an environmental historian of West Africa. Rebecca is also part of a digital history project on the end of enslavement in Senegal, the Senegal Liberations Project. Her research has been published in African Studies Review, Environmental Science & Policy, and Escalvages/Post-Esclavages, and she is currently writing a monograph on the twentieth-century history of the Senegal River.
